Ok the Royal Britannia yacht is one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time and almost ties with the Fairy Pools as my favorite place in Scotland. The yacht was so easy to get to from Edinburgh (although you have to have exact change to pay for the bus ticket and of course at first I didn’t). There was just so much to the yacht I was really impressed. I did have a little trouble finding it at first though. To enter the attraction you have to travel to the top floor of a shopping center and its tucked away right at the end of the building. There is a small museum in the shopping center with all sorts of items from the yacht and the history of the royal ships. There is a really good free audio guide to take you through the yacht when you finally get on board. This is just such an amazing attraction to be able to get on board a royal yacht (I was so excited to visit and talking about it gets me excited again). There is of course two parts of the ship the royal quarters and the working section of the yacht. I have so much more to share with you all from this attraction so stay tuned for more to come.
