Skara Brae is a community of neolithic houses on the coast in Orkney Islands. Just like the Tomb of the Eagle the site was uncovered after a storm exposed the stone work. The site was a little small and all you can do is walk around it. Like everywhere else in Scotland the scenery is breathtaking and there’s a little something extra included in the entry price that makes this site worth the visit. Keep an eye out and I’ll share it with you soon.

    • Hey Deanna thanks for the comment.
I agree with everything you said in your post all so true and I’m pretty much the same.
I always tell people to plan plan plan. Research where your going. Research how to get there. Book in advance. If something happens along the way that’s awesome but at least you’ll have a game plan when you land.
So lovely to hear from you. Xo
